PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed a law that will turn the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) into the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev).
Republic Act (RA) 12145, which legislates the DEPDev's charter, was signed by Marcos on April 11, the NEDA said in a statement on Friday. It will take effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or a general circulation newspaper.
