TWO veteran Filipino chess campaigners mounted an impressive run in Melbourne to start their Australian campaign on a high note.
Grandmaster (GM) Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr. settled for runner-up honors while International Master (IM) Jose Efren Bagamasbad ended up in third place at the Melbourne International Open Chess Championships held from April 7-9, 2025.
