THE collective nonperforming loan (NPL) ratio of Philippine banks remained steady at 3.38 percent in February, data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas showed.

The indicator, which covers past-due loans where the principal or interest is unpaid for 90 days or more after the due date, was unchanged from January but fell from the year-earlier 3.44 percent.
