SEN. Ronald dela Rosa on Tuesday alleged that some local government officials were hesitant to make public their support for opposition candidates in for fear of repercussions from the current administration.
"Many LGU (local government unit) executives cannot openly show their support for the opposition slate because of the potential consequences from the Marcos administration," said Dela Rosa, a reelectionist running under PDP-Laban, led by former president Rodrigo Duterte.
