(UPDATE) KANLAON Volcano in Negros Island erupted on Tuesday morning, sending a towering ash plume four kilometers into the atmosphere.
Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the eruption began at 5:51 a.m. and lasted for nearly an hour.
