THE peso could return to all-time low of P59:$1 this quarter as trade wars initiated by US President Donald Trump continue or worsen, Maybank Research said on Monday, even as the impact on currencies in the region could be cushioned.
"The high level of tariffs and uncertainties that persist in this global trade war are negative demand shocks for most economies, including Asean," it said in a report.
