CEBU CITY — The Mandaue City government has launched an investigation into the death of a 6-year-old boy who was crushed to death by a fallen tree in Barangay Ibabao-Estancia on April 1.
Mayor Glenn Bercede wants to know if there is accountability on the part of the government for failing to act on an earlier request by residents to cut down the rotting buri tree.
