SMB whips NLEX in solid PH Cup start

MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Beer kicked off its title bid with a 98-89 whipping of NLEX in its PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup debut on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

CJ Perez led the Beermen's attack with 28 points, while Juami Tiongson added 17.
