AYALA Corp. (AC) on Wednesday said that it had sealed a deal with Japan's Mitsubishi Corp. where the latter would be taking a 50-percent stake in subsidiary AC Ventures Holding Corp., which owns the parent firm of GCash, for P18.4 billion.

The conglomerate told the stock exchange that the investment agreement for the deal, which was announced last year, had been signed on Monday.
