BENGUET — Benguet Rep. Eric Go Yap has filed cyber libel charges against a woman who is based overseas for her series of posts on social media, particularly Facebook, that attack the credibility of the lawmaker.
Yap, who is seeking reelection in the midterm elections, also sought the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to identify other social media accounts that have been spreading similar malicious statements against him.
