NEW US tariffs expected to be announced on April 2 could drag the stock market down this week ahead of a possible lift from March inflation data due Friday, analysts said.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) see-sawed last week, closing at 6,147.44 percent on Friday and down 1.90 percent week on week, as traders digested news about US President Donald Trump's tariff plans.
