NTT World Engineering Marine Corp. (NTT WE Marine), the submarine cable laying unit of Japan's Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (NTT), is expanding its presence in the Philippines to support the growing demand for submarine cable installation and maintenance in the region amid the continuing digitalization trend of businesses.
Mamoru Watanabe, president and chief executive of NTT WE Marine, said late last week that they were seeing plenty of opportunities in the country as various businesses embark on digitalization efforts in varying scales.
