A low pressure area (LPA) spotted 330 kilometers west of Cuyo, Palawan will bring scattered rains over Western Visayas and Mimaropa regions on Sunday, state weather bureau Pagasa said in its 4 a.m. advisory.

These areas will have cloudy skies and thunderstorms, and moderate to at times heavy rains could result in flash floods or landslides.
