THE Department of Health (DOH) advised patients and health care providers to bring new cases to DOH hospitals instead of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), whose emergency room (ER) reached full capacity on the eve of March 27.
Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa emphasized that the DOH is ready to assist PGH in managing the current patient load. He also urged hospitals, clinics, ambulances, and doctors to divert new patients to other health care facilities under the DOH's jurisdiction.
