CANDIDATES for the local elections hit the ground running on the first day of campaign on Friday, March 28. Some of them began the day with prayers in the church. Some went house-to-house for a handshake.

Yet some, as soon as they climbed the stage, began talking about their visions, their plans and vowed to make them happen to better serve their constituents.
