TNT outlasts Ginebra in OT to win PBA championship

TNT outlasted Barangay Ginebra in overtime, 87-83, to win the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup title on Friday night before over 21,000 fans that packed the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Calvin Oftana scored on a daring layup off a broken play after import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson nearly turned the ball over while trying to wiggle free from a triple-team defense employed by Ginebra, to give TNT, the 87-83 lead.
