THE peso fell further on Wednesday, but the stock market snapped a three-day decline by rebounding just before trading ended.

The currency weakened by 9 centavos to P57.69 against the dollar while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) edged up by 6.20 points, or 0.10 percent, to end the day at 6,166.05 after spending most of the day in the red.
