MANILA, Philippines — Former solicitor general Estelito Mendoza died on Wednesday, the Philippine National Bank said in a statement. He was 95.

"We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Atty. Estelito P. Mendoza, an esteemed director of the Philippine National Bank," the PNB said.
