THE peso fell on Tuesday, and the stock market also extended its decline to three days amid concerns over US tariffs and interest rate cuts.
After edging down by 1 centavo at the start of the trading week, the currency weakened by 28 centavos to P57.6 to the dollar while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) shed 32.17 points, or 0.52 percent to end the day at 6,159.85.
