CHINESE manufacturing companies and other multinational firms have expressed interest to shift operations to the Philippines as a result of US President Donald Trump's new trade policies, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) said.

This development follows the United States' imposing a 20-percent tariff on Chinese imports.
