THE Philippine unit of Pru Life UK is planning to launch its first takaful or Islamic insurance product in the country next month, its top official told reporters on Monday.
"We are still waiting for the product to be specifically approved by the Insurance Commission. But my understanding is we are very close to it," Pru Life UK CEO Sanjay Chakrabarty said.
