DAVAO CITY — Nineteen passengers and crew members were rescued from a fishing boat that sank off DBCom Panacan, Ilang this city on Saturday, March 22.
Coast Guard Eastern Mindanao spokesman Ensign Winston Gonzales said the three-tonner fishing boat was sailing in the waters of Ilang, Davao City and was bound for Island Garden City of Samal when it encountered an engine trouble at around 11 a.m. The trouble resulted in water ingress.
