THE government activated its emergency operations center on Monday in response to the transport strike initiated by certain transport groups.
Officials, including representatives from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the Department of Transportation, the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine National Police (PNP), convened to assess and manage the situation.
