Sunshine Cruz defies autoimmune disease on the runway

MANILA, Philippines — Days after walking the runway for 'Bench Body of Work' underwear show, actress Sunshine Cruz revealed that the toned body she showcased has defied the autoimmune disease she was recently diagnosed with.

'It's been a real roller coaster these past months. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis, which has made building muscle a real struggle. But I'm so thankful for the strength I've found,' Cruz wrote in an Instagram post where she also thanked her fitness coach.
