Blue Eagles outplay Maroons, get win run going

MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles outplayed the UP Fighting Maroons, 15-25, 25-23, 27-25, 30-32, 16-14, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday to get a win run going in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament.

Lyann De Guzman banged 25 pts and tallied 17 excellent receptions and 14 digs to lead the Blue Eagles, who went on a 4-0 run to overcome a 12-14 hole and defeat the Fighting Maroons for the 11th straight time dating back to Season 81.
