MANILA, Philippines — Akari booked a semifinals ticket after outlasting Galeries Tower in five sets, 19-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-20, 15-12, in Game 2 of their Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals series at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Thursday.

Akari also won Game 1 in five sets, 21-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 15-11.
