APEX Mining Co. Inc. saw its consolidated net income surge 28 percent to P4.3 billion last year, from P3.4 billion 2023, on the back of increased output at its Maco and Sangilo mines and higher prices of gold.

In a disclosure on Thursday, Apex said that increased production resulted in consolidated revenues growing to P15.1 billion from P12.1 billion, which was achieved despite a landslide in Maco, Davao de Oro, last year that limited operations for five months.
