MANY happy tears were shed as three stroke patients and a polio survivor received a new lease on life with wheelchairs donated by the Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara, Negros Occidental. Previously confined indoors, they can now move freely and engage in daily activities.
The recipients were stroke patients Rolly Brondo and Eneseta Pabedron from E.B. Magalona, Alicia Treyes Pandagani from Hinigaran, and polio survivor April Boy Java from Victorias City.
