(UPDATE) THE Japanese Embassy in Manila on Wednesday opened five visa application centers nationwide to expedite visa processing and issuance as Japan becomes a favorite destination of Filipino tourists.
In January, the embassy advised Filipino tourists to file their visa application two months before their expected arrival in Japan as the processing of visa requests would take longer due to the backlog.
