National Security Adviser Año denies conspiracy to arrest Duterte

MANILA, Philippines — National Security Adviser Secretary Eduardo Año denied reports that he orchestrated the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

Secretary Ano clarified that the claims stating he, along with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla, and Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, had conspired to plan Duterte's arrest were untrue.
