The Base Commanders of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (BIAF-MILF) affirmed their support for the new leadership of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), as Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua assumed office on Thursday, March 20.

In a joint statement, the 12 commanders expressed confidence in Macacua as BARMM leader, saying that he was someone they could trust with their future, having been a part of the movement for the Moro people's struggle for self-determination.
