THE National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) board on Wednesday approved two projects worth P70.6 billion that are aimed at strengthening food security and disaster preparedness.

The biggest project approved by the board, which is chaired by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., is the P56.7-billion Panahon ng Pagkilos: Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP), a flagship initiative of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
