THE country's balance of payments (BoP) swung to a surplus in February after four straight months in deficit, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported on Wednesday.

The $3.1-billion result was a turnaround from the shortfalls of $196 million a year ago and January's $4.1 billion. It was also the highest since September 2024's $3.52-billion surplus.
