AUTO sales slowed in February following a steep plunge in purchases of passenger cars, data released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (Campi) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed.
Following January's 10.4-percent year-on-year expansion, overall sales grew by an annual 2.9 percent, although the 39,164 units sold were still higher than the previous month's 37,604.
