(UPDATE) METRO Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) General Manager Oscar Bongon has been relieved of his post, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said Tuesday as the embattled rail system faces growing criticism over passenger safety and operational lapses.
While the DOTr has yet to disclose the reason for Bongon's removal, a shortlist of potential replacements has been submitted for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s approval.
