The northeast monsoon (amihan) will prevail over Luzon and the easterlies will affect the rest of the country, bringing cloudy skies, scattered rain showers or thunderstorms.

State weather bureau Pagasa, in its early Tuesday morning forecast, said that Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers due to the northeast monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during moderate to at times heavy rains.
