THE Philippine economy will likely continue growing at a modest pace in 2025, New-York based consultancy GlobalSource Partners said, with first-quarter gross domestic product (GDP) growth seen hitting 5.7 percent.

"There is broad expectation that growth this year will not be materially different from [2024's 5.6 percent]," GlobalSource economists Diwa Guinigundo and Wilhelmina Manalac said in a March 14 report.
