NCR retail price growth slows to 1.3% in February

THE retail prices of goods in Metro Manila grew at 1.3 percent in February, slower than the 2.1 percent in the same month last year, and the 1.4 percent last January, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Data showed the primary contributor to the reduced general retail price index (GRPI) was the annual decline in the prices of mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials at 1.3 percent last month from a 0.9-percent increase in January.
