GOKONGWEI-LED food and beverage manufacturer Universal Robina Corp. (URC) reported a core net income of P12.2 billion for 2024, down 3 percent from P12.6 billion a year earlier, even as sales rose 3 percent to P161.9 billion on volume growth across all segments.
"We delivered strong cash generation and dividend growth while pivoting to stronger volume growth recovery" as consumer sentiment improves after absorbing multi-year inflationary pressures, Universal Robina President and CEO Irwin Lee said in a statement.
