Parts of the Philippines will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms due to the two weather systems prevailing over the archipelago.

State weather bureau Pagasa, in its early Monday morning advisory, said that the northeast monsoon (amihan) is affecting Northern Luzon, and the easterlies prevail over the rest of the country.
