Two weather systems are affecting the Philippines, the northeast monsoon (amihan) in the northernmost part of Luzon and the easterlies over the rest of the country, causing rain showers or thunderstorms.
State weather bureau Pagasa said early Sunday morning that amihan and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms to parts of the country.
