Palace on Duterte's ICC pre-trial: 'Justice starts to roll down'

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Saturday said that justice has started to roll down following former president Rodrigo Duterte's first appearance before the International Criminal Court (ICC) to face crimes against humanity charges over his deadly war on illegal drugs.

In a statement, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the ICC pre-trial hearing showed that Duterte was afforded his rights, contrary to the claim of his camp.
