DMCI Holdings profit plunges 21% to P19B

CONSUNJI-LED diversified engineering conglomerate DMCI Holdings Inc. reported a net income of P19.0 billion in 2024, down 21 percent from the previous year's P24 billion, on the back of weaker commodities and electricity prices, fewer projects finished and slower real estate demand.

DMCI told the stock exchange that excluding non-recurring items, core net income also fell 21 percent to P18.8 billion from P23.9 billion a year earlier.
