TNT draws first blood vs Ginebra in PBA finals

TNT came out with a strong defensive effort as it subdued Barangay Ginebra, 95-89, to draw first blood in their PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup best-of-seven finals series on Friday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Tropang Giga stormed to an early 29-18 lead in the opening quarter, padded it to as high as 18 points, before holding off the Gin Kings' familiar fourth-quarter rally to take the head start in the championship series.
