CEBU CITY — Foreign and local tourists contributed P125.92 billion into the economy of Central Visayas in 2024, a report by the Department of Tourism-Region 7 (DOT-7) said.
DOT-7 said there were 7,517,450 tourist arrivals in the region in 2024, a 37.03-percent jump from the previous year, signaling a strong industry rebound.
