CHEMICAL Engineering students, representing Team ECO BEADa (BatStateU Alangilan) from Batangas State University (BatStateU), on March 4 won second place at the World Engineering Day (WED) Hackathon 2025 in Paris, France.

The competition, with the theme, "Shaping Our Sustainable Future Through Engineering," was hosted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO).
