CEBU CITY — For the first time in years, families in far-flung Barangay Lanas, City of Naga, Cebu, will have access to electricity with the launch of a project involving a Korean company.

The project, spearheaded by Visayan Electric in partnership with the Department of Energy (DOE) and Korea Electric Power Corp. (Kepco) Philippines, was launched during a ceremonial switch-on event on Thursday, March 6.
