A FRENCH tech startup executive has called for Europe to boost its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and reduce reliance on US technology, in a keynote on March 4 in Barcelona, Spain for this year's Mobile World Congress, an annual trade show dedicated to the mobile communications industry.
Arthur Mensch, Mistral AI chief executive and co-founder, stressed the need for local infrastructure investment, citing Europe's growing AI ambitions as reported by Amiya Johar for Mobile World Live.
