Meralco, Kepco sign tech cooperation deal

MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) on Tuesday said it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Electric Power Corp. (Kepco) to foster technical cooperation and exchange programs in the field of new energy technology.

'This MOU marks an important step for both Kepco and Meralco,' Meralco Chairman and CEO Manuel Pangilinan said in a statement.
