TESLA Philippines has launched the upgraded Tesla Model Y — the world's top-selling vehicle in 2023 and 2024. Early adopters who ordered their units after the brand's launch in November last year and have not yet received them automatically get the upgrade to the new model.
The new Model Y, along with all Model 3 units sold in Asia, is produced at Tesla's Giga Shanghai factory in China. The highly automated facility serves as the primary export hub for regions without a gigafactory and is reportedly capable of rolling out a Model Y body-in-white unit about 40 seconds on average.
